Lizzie is the Mobile Laboratory Technical Sales Executive for the Edinburgh Complex Fluids Partnership (ECFP). She holds an MChem in Chemistry, with research focused on stopped-flow and quench-flow NMR spectroscopy.
Following her studies, Lizzie gained experience across both scientific and project management roles. She worked as an Analytical Chemist at The Scotch Whisky Research Institute, specialising in chromatography and alcohol analysis, and as a Research Chemist at Metaflake Ltd, where she contributed to the development of pigments, paints and inks. She also worked as a Project Manager at Hawk-Eye Innovations, supporting international tennis events around the world, before moving into the defence sector with Mott MacDonald.
At ECFP, Lizzie works with businesses across Scotland and England through the Mobile Laboratory, demonstrating ECFP’s analytical capabilities and connecting companies with ECFP expertise to help solve technical challenges, accelerate innovation, and support product and process development.
